Good call, I think Michigan would be a nice matchup for the Griz. If a 15 seed, Duke or Missouri would be interesting matchups. Both teams rely on the three a lot and perimeter play, and defending the perimeter is a strength of the Griz.

Duke and Missouri play a defense UM cannot match...but, UM can slow the game down with good ball handling...Missouri is really something..how they lost games this year is a mystery..Duke, even with stellar defense, can shoot the lights out with 3s....

Agreed with most of what was said above. We will most likely be the 13th or 14th seed in Portland (if I'm correct about the seeding over there). And a team with a dominant inside game would eat us alive. But what about one of the WCC teams? Is there a chance we would get St. Mary's as a 4 seed - because that would be a very winnable game. And if we get matched up against the PAC-12 champion, be it Washington or Cal again I like our chances.

EDIT: meh, just rechecked the rankings there is no way the PAC-12 or WCC champs get a 4 seed.

Lunardi has Griz at a 14 right now against Baylor at a 3. I think they're a legit 13, but when you're up against stronger conferences and Eastern bias, you don't have much of a chance. I think the Griz will give a 3 or 4 seed a good run, and wouldn't be shocked if they won. go :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Griz

Both Lunardi and two other brackets I've seen have the Griz pegged to play Baylor in ABQ. I wonder though if Baylor wins the Big 12 if they'll move up to a 2 seed...

I think with a lot of the things that have been happening in other mid-major tourneys, with favorites losing, Montana should be at least a 14. Nevada losing yesterday should help, because that could give Montana a chance to move up a bit, especially if Louisiana Tech can win tonight over NM State.

Could definitely see Baylor possibly moving up a row if they can beat Mizzou in B12 title game.
