Think about it

Weber found a few and ND found a really big one. Hopefully PSU doesn't find as many against us as they did against MSU.

If I would have watched the NAU MSU game before the Griz played the Jacks I would have thought NAU to be a much better team than they actually are. The same will hold true for PSU. The Cats made them look like world beaters just like they did NAU. And Poorgriz, the cat defense isn't any better at home than they are on the road. The Griz will show you that in a few weeks time.

Look back at the final scores. If Stitt opted for FGs (and they were on target) against CP and Weber, the Griz are 6-1. The fate of the Griz have been in Stitt's hand the entire time. Obviously. They were/are 6 points away from leading the conference in a tie for 1st. Hopefully those aren't the FGs that keep us out of the post season.

Rather than a few field goal chances that weren't taken, the Grizzlies making the playoffs is directly tied to defeating Portland St, Idaho St, E WA, and MT St..

Nothing is a given, and it will be a challenge, yet I like our chances. :ugeek:

Its harder to find a wall on the cats defense. If the offensive player doesnt trip over himself...its usually going for a TD against that bunch over in Bozo.

Did you really just compare our Defense to MSU's?

Downers gonna down.
Ha! Not a downer at all. We just have to make sure we tackle better than we have in a couple of past games this season. Granted MSU's defense is beyond horrible but this might be the most complete rushing offense, other than NDSU and maybe Cal Poly, that we have faced all year.

Cal Poly is in a league of its own...style AND yardage wise. They average 140 yards per game MORE than PSU.

Play selection:

Cal Poly: 526 rushes, 86 passes
PSU: 343 rushes, 126 passes

UM: 262 rushes, 316 passes

Defensively Montana has BY FAR the fewest pass attempts against it, and that won't change this weekend, apparently. Better strap on the big boy helmets on the interior line.
