Ride a fix gear around...Portland sucks probably my least favorite place in the NW

Whos got the best one? Mine is really simple, breakfast at the bonner truck stop then to the tailgates for some jack and cokes and a smooth dip of copenhagen

Based on the above, I can see why Portland's not your thing...head east to Gresham or Troutdale; they've got everything you need! :P :P :P

Yeah I can attest that Portland collectively hasn't yet reached that degree of sophistication... Troutdale is a good choice but just 30 miles away is Longview WA which would have to be nirvana for RC.

Ha! I didn't think about sending him north...good call Grisly!

Hey! Just do what I do! Drink from the veritable cornucopia of beer that flows through this city. While they don't have cool names like "Cold Smoke" or "Trout Slayer" (I'm thinking Bayern's Trout Slayer before Big Sky bought that title), and the clientele can be very hipster (ugh), they are generally very good. It's the time of year when Barleywines and Imperials come out, so be careful or you might not remember the weekend.
