after reading thru all the blah blah blah about cheering for the bobs due to their players from montana, representing the state, and representing the bsc, vs cheering against them because of the long rivalry and/or their fans, i would like to offer an alternative. it's the path i take, and it's easy - i just don't care. i don't care if they win, and don't care if they lose. they are just another team on the schedule.
as for last night, since it was the only football game on at the time, i watched until i got tired of seeing the lousy defense played by both secondary's. dowler runs by the isu guys, who reach out with one hand as if that is going to tackle him. then the isu receiver does the same against the bobs. after viewing that level of play a few times, i turned the noise off, read a book, then fell asleep.
why? because i didn't care.
