Yes... I expect this to get moved - however I wanted to start this thread here so more people saw it.

I'm looking for some help from my Griz Nation family.

As I believe a lot of you know I have an autistic son who is now 8 years old. With my wife leading the charge on this our family has set up a 1-time screening of the documentary The United States of Autism in Missoula on July 17th.

The website tugg.com is helping us but it requires that we sell at least 74 tickets before they'll authorize the screening. The funds from the ticket sales go back to helping those who made the documentary and will go to charities and organizations that help provide autism services.

This will be screened at the Carmike 12 who donated a screen for the showing on the 17th at 7:30 pm.

Here how you can help to get this screened:

1. Come and see it, follow the link and buy some tickets: http://www.tugg.com/events/4228" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

2. Buy tickets and don't attend. While attendance is great if you want to support the screening, ticket sales will help. If you even want to donate the tickets back we can find families that could use them

3. Send the link to people you know who might be interested. Those who are affected by autism in their family or with friends of theirs. Also educators, child care providers, or medical providers who might work with autistic kids - this could be a great documentary for them. http://www.tugg.com/events/4228" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thank you all, I appreciate the support.

Brint

Thanks for being such a great part of the populace, Brint, with something like this we can all get behind it. I will attempt to go visit my little brother over there and attend the screening. :clap:

Thanks for letting us know. My nephew is a special needs child with autistic behaviors. I sent you a pm.

We're about 1 week shy of needing to hit our threshold. I've created a FB information page where you can follow a link to buy the tickets, share the event with friends, and watch the preview.

I purchased two tickets to give to someone who can attend. I will email them to you, Brint, once they email them to me. I asked them (Tugg) to do it, but they said to do it this way.

I bought a ticket. I wish I could've done more, but did you know that weddings are expensive? :)

I won't be able to attend but thought I'd help. I'll e-mail you my ticket to give away.

You're a good guy Brint.

Hey Brint!

I just ordered 2. I am in Billings and will forward the tickets for you to utilize however you choose. Good luck with this project and thanks for all the work you put in keeping Griz Fans up to speed throughout the season!! Can't wait to see the team run out of tunnel under the lights against ApSt. Go Griz! :thumb:
