Big Sky Breakdown just completed the Lady Griz Deep Dive into their early success. Below is small portion of the analysis and the video breakdown of what we feel has lead to the early success of the Lady Griz.

"Besides the returning four players providing immediate success for the Lady Griz, three other areas stand out to us. The bench play of Dani Bartsch, Hailey Huard, and Nyah Morris Nelson have provided depth, length, and athleticism the Lady Griz have not had in the past. Defensively they allow 53.9 ppg (a league-best) while only committing 12.1 FPG. Lastly, looking into the strength of schedule (Big Sky Conference 29nd out of 32 teams in SOS this season) where the Lady Griz stands at 313 out of 351 Division 1 teams in the country...."

I enjoyed the video and deep dive writeup on your website. Thank you for the time and effort you put into your analysis.
I am optimistic that we can compete with any team in the conference this season, which is a far cry from where we have been the last several years. With a continued emphasis on defense and rebounding as well as a focus on cutting down our turnovers, I look for us to be playing our best ball at the end of the season.
Please keep providing your content and analysis!

In our opinion the league is not as tough as it has been in years past. ISU is missing Konate and that hurts, Idaho is really young with tons of new pieces to their roster....Marxen leaving the team did not help, and MSU has not hit its stride. It could be being overlooked by some will benefit the Lady Griz. NAU and SUU are also making strides and starting to hit a groove. Not sure if the 2nd leading scorer leaving the SUU program after game 5 will hurt in the long run. To early to tell.

Appreciate the feed back. We are looking forward to providing more content and analysis regarding the BSC all season long. Check us out on Twitter as well @bigskybreakdown

Here is a little breakdown we did of the ISU v NAU matchup during the first weekend of conference. ISU should have won this game.
