jason kidd set a new jersey nets playoff record for assists with 15 last night, breaking a record he previously shared with micheal ray richardson.

i know this will be fuel for a lengthy and extremely lively thread.

I was formerly one of those who did not like to think about MRR being Griz, because he certainly didn't represent the University or the program well. However, I am very proud of how he's turned his life around. Not everyone can do that (see Darryl Strawberry, et al).

And one could never question his abilities. The fact that his records are still around today is testament to that.

WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!

The best BBaller to come out of the BSC.

Drafted #4 in the NBA draft-
No Not 4th round- #4 in the first round!!!

That will never happen again.

And Yes Its great that he has turned his life around. He is at one end the other is Starwberry and Steve Howe (RIP)

Watching MRR play is one of my favorite memories of my days at UM; when I was a really young kid, I watched Elgin Baylor play for Seattle U against MSU. Those are definitely the two best players that I've seen play in person in the State of Montana.

His later troubles were heartbreaking, but I am always ready to give kudos to anyone who turns their life around.
