1. All opponents offensive series shall end in failure.

2. Failure should ideally start on first down with the following in order of preference:
A: Interception that is returned for touchdown (preferred) or ran back to opponents 1 yard line.
B: Fumble (recovered by Griz)
C: Tackle (for large loss) or at worst tackle for no gain.

3: Second down shall follow the guidlines listed above.

4: Third down shall follow the guidlines listed above.

5: Fourth down shall end in the following accepted order listed below.
A: Blocked punt (recovered by Griz)
B: Punt returned for touchdown (preferred) or returned to opposing teams redzone.

All other outcomes are henceforth deemed failure and shall be punished in the following order:

1. Players not performing adequately will be benched.

2. Position coaches shall be fired and immediately banned from any further contact to the program.

3. Assistant coaches shall be fired and immediately banned from any further contact to the program, as well as shamed daily on social media.

4. Defensive coordinators will be fired and beaten publicly and then ran out of town.

5. Head Coach shall be:
1. Fired
2. Beaten Publicly
3. Ran out of town
4. Set on fire as a warning to the next coach.

Have I addressed all of the naysayers, haters, skeptics and bobby fanboys concerns?

If we wind up with 4 wins, your comments will come back to haunt you.

Whose we? Are you suiting up for practice and games?

But I digress, perhaps the players, and coaches for Valpo (and every other team everyone plays) hit the weight room during the off season. Perhaps they practice, maybe (shocking I know) have kids that work hard, have talent and speed (scholarships or not) and want to play well and win. Heck, they might even have coaches, family and friends that want to see them succeed as well. And wonder of wonders, they will actually have some success on some plays even (gasp!) score points and even win games! All without the magic blessing or voodoo curse of the omnipotent Egriz consortium.

Really try and enjoy the game, they are all young men bordering on kids trying to figure out life while playing football for your amusement.

I don't think your words will come back to haunt you and I think the Griz will win at least six games, hopefully more like 8. I have been one of the posters on the board who have tried to be a realist and stay positive after last year. Having watched much of the game yesterday, I was a little frustrated with the Defensive effort. To be blunt, the play was sloppy. Granted it was the first game and Valpo was not the dog of the team I expected. They had two pretty solid QB's and pretty damn good receivers. I just would like to see more discipline on defense and special teams. I remain positive and hope the coaches and players work on cleaning up some things this week. Go Griz

Thanks for the advice, although I've had an athlete or two or three or four in my family. Probably a couple you couldn't carry water to.
