Would've gotten us out of the first round. But we were probably destined for at least the semis that year.

Translation: Yes, he did miss his last kick. A rare event. Since he left for the NFL the quality of Griz kickers has deteriorated and is getting worse. Hence, "recreating his last UM kick."
