He was until he wasn't. I don't understand the decisions made by this coaching staff sometimes. I have no idea, none! Why we aren't playing a heavy DL like we did against CP and shut down the run. It's pretty god damned simple, but apparently cute is better. What do I know. Nothing apparently and yet we continue to let teams play offense at will. We couldn't stop a wet fart let alone a nose bleed and we still kept in the light ends.
Maybe Mr. Ione understands option ball better than most, since his father coached it for 39 years and Kane played in it as a prep. By the looks of it, option ball might be the only thing Ione knows much about defending.
