Kevin Marshall of FCS Nation came up with the idea. Named after our own "Grizzly Bill", the Bill Schwanke Award will be given annually to the FCS radio play-by-play broadcaster of the year. Committee to decide the recipient will be: Tim Brando of Fox Sports, and a representative broadcaster from each of the FCS conferences.
