The Big Sky is VERY much improved.

When I took a look at the BSC pre-Season results I found some very surprising number. The Big Sky for the most part has been very competative with other Western conferences. It shows that the Big Sky is not so far behind the WAC, MWC or the West Coast League. These games would not have been nearly so close in the past. Also, Keep in mind that most of these games were on the road.

EWU and ISU have no good games to speak of.

it's actually even better than that: sac state beat oregon state by 2 in corvallis. they've got a 6'5" jumping-jack freshman, john dixon, whom i saw play in an all-star game with will cherry this summer. cherry was the more impressive, but you could see dixon could really develop into a big-time player.

oops...I had heard on the radio that ISU had soundly beaten Oregon..sorry...

The sky really is lookin better overall. If ISU had been winning games we'd be a solid conf, much better than the big west.
