The Aussies

I stumbled across these on YouTube. This is my first time sharing a link so hopefully it works!

What sticks out to me for Bannan is he has great court vision and ball handling skills for a big guy. He also has a good jump shot and looks to be strong with some post moves already developed. Bannan is #10 in white and Clarke is #6

Here is one for Clarke. He has a quick release, can get to the basket, handle the ball, and has great length that will be useful on defense and in rebounding.

Got a question - when do the Aussies play there basketball season, during the winter months?
Also noticed a female ref in the second clip. I am surprised that more female refs are not officiating boys games here in the states or maybe I'm just not aware of it!

Clarke is going to be special. He’s been compared by NBA scouts to a bigger Matthew Delladova. Just an automatic jump shot.

Bannan’s game has some Joe Ingles in him. Another 6’8” to 6’9” lefty that can shoot and pass but also has crafty moves in the post.

Matthew Dellavedova is a mean SOB--a rugby player in a basketball uniform. I hope young Mr. Clarke has half his meanness.

For the lesser informed, such as myself, do these Aussie players join the Griz basketball team next season?

There's only been 20 Aussie NBA-ers ever and best 2 (Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons) played High school in America. Dellavadova ranks 6th in NBA games played by Australians and 7th in points. U of Montana has only produced 5 NBA-ers ever, so the likelihood that this guy is truly a "bigger Matthew Delladova" is laughable. I don't know who these supposed "NBA scouts" are, but I'm guessing NBA teams don't send their top scouts to Australia.

Considering he is currently on scholarship at the NBA global academy in Australia and he has played with the u17 and u20 national teams for Australia... I'd say it isnt that laughable of a comparison
