Thanks to all my fellow Vets... Vietnam Vets suffered through their country not wanting them back... If not for your sacrifice, my generation would have suffered the same

To my family and friends and to all the other courageous men and women who have served or are now serving our country -- thank you! Material things don't matter all that much to me, people do, but my father's silver star medal from combat in WWII is my favorite possession. Nicely framed with the accompanying citation and other service medals, it hangs above my bed and there's just something right about waking up and seeing it every morning.
