The NFL makes me want to puke. I only watch college anymore. New England exemplifies the problem. Does not matter if you cheat - just win and oh, I forgot - don't get caught. Wait, I mean don't get penalized after you are caught. Goldman Sachs should take lessons from the NFL. On second thought, maybe the NFL took lessons from Goldman Sachs

Copper, FBS football doesn't exactly have the best rep either. Money flat out drives FBS football. Big money boosters run programs and a large majority of top high school players see collegiate football as something they HAVE to do in order to go pro. I've actually heard many top college coaches call FBS football nothing more than an NFL farm system at this point, and too many times, there is no such thing as student-athlete anymore.

Division III is non-scholarship and that is why Howard Cosell said that was the only division of college sports where the term student athlete actually meant what it said. It's a mixed picture, there are some good students on all teams and some who are only in it for the football. As in all things, follow the money.
