I will get hammered for saying this but we need to get tougher with the DUI's and athletes. A couple of game suspension isn't deterring the behavior at all so maybe cutting their scholarship would be.

CET is not part of the program. Hard to tie this to the staff.

I wonder what the hell is going on with the current players? Seems like a majority of them enjoy drinking a little too much. I don't expect these guys to not enjoy college life, but be smart about it. Do not get behind a wheel, or in a car when you, or your ride has been drinking!!!!!

This has been one rough off season for Coach Tinkle. I would hate to be anyone on this team, and have to answer up to Wayne. The players need to pull their heads out of their collective asses!!!!

I pray this is the last we will hear of from any basketball players being stupid.
 
Tinks has his guys paint the M every year. I'm thinking that this year, he might have them do it every day for a month. With one these:

Obviously they are not afraid of what Tinks will do to them or else they would not be doing this in the first place.
 
Just wondering how it works in Missoula for the cab ride home. In GF
we have a program where questionably impaired drivers get a free ride
home from the bar. Maybe get a program going that provides students
an easy way home for the night rather than saying "I'm ok", (and we've
all done it), and getting behind the wheel.

Our problem is the overall lack of cabs in general. Thanks to graduation weekend I found myself being ushered out of a bar at 2am, while I was in the company of a sober driver you usually find the sidewalks and streets downtown a little cluttered with drunks figuring out how they're getting home - with no cabs in sight.
 
I've walked many times while in various states of intoxication during trips to Missoula. The city of Missoula is spread out but it's not like LA or Phoenix big.

A 30 minute walk in the cold usually won't you in Missoula. Call a friend. Wait a while for a cab. Too many B.S. excuses. Tinkle, his staff and the Griz fan base don't deserve to deal with this ongoing crap.

Amen, I walked from the mall to the softball field by Scott Street when myself and everyone I was with were to messed up to be driving. Glad I did too, another got a DUI from the same event. I felt damn good about my decision too.
