Tate Forcier rumors

he is PERFECT for the O that UM is trying to run!!!!

and just what are we trying to run??

What does a guy like that do to the chemestry of the team? There seems to be more negatives bringing him in the possitives. He scares me and I'm fearless

See Oregon...

If you think the train wreck of an offense we ran is even close to Oregon you must have seen a different offense then I saw. Does anyone wonder why Chip didn't retain Robin? We went from a balanced attack that was able to throw to a team that ran plays. There is no discription for what we run. Too bad Chase had to finish he career running what ever it was we ran.

I don't think this rumor has legs. If Forcier were transfering to Montana after a rough semester at Michigan, he would probably be enrolled in winter session at Montana right now doing what he had to to gain enough credits to qualify for spring practice. Winter session started Jan. 3.
Tate is the next Tab Perry.

You don't think the coaching change, which was announced yesterday, would have had an impact on his decision?

Forcier might have the skills and has come up through similar systems but one has to wonder what he'll do to the chemistry of the group. This team was pulled apart a bit this past year by hot-headed transfers that came in - if that's the way any transfer would act coming in here then I think the staff would not want him to be a part of the team.

Now if he wants to/plans to be a team player and will work to improve the team and comes in with no entitlements and expectations because of who he is, then great, welcome aboard.

I am in no way saying he is headed to Montana, but the reason he wants to get academically reinstated is so he can transfer to another school. A player ruled academically ineligible can not transfer and be on scholarship at a new school. He either needs to be in good standing or attend a JC or Community College to get his grades up.

Get real... without a few turnovers the Griz win EVERY game this year...

BTW... Was Chase healthy? No...

He ran into Nick Fairley. The guy was unblockable and stuffed the ducks in the red zone when it mattered. Thomas also made a couple bad reads. Oregon still moved the ball quite effectively.

That and reverse kickoff's and options out of the end zone. More options up the middle... Looked pretty good the few times they stretched and went down field though.

griz4life: The main spring semester doesn't start for a week or two. The winter classes right now
are a three week interim period (winter session) in which a student can get one or two classes in.
See the student calendar at http://www.umt.edu/provost/about/academiccalendar.aspx

It's a DONE deal. Just like when I broke the news about opening up at Tennessee, but got called everything but white by all the know it all's on this board. I expect the same this time.

Forcier is a Griz.

Yes. My thinking was he might use winter session to clean up any fall semester grade problems. Don't know if that would work for a transfer, but it works for current athletes almost every winter session.
