You are correct. It's just stupid to want that . I sure am a delusional fan. So is 99% of the fan base. The rest, well they are the reason we do not have a NATTY.
If fans bitching and whining on message boards actually led to a teams success the Griz would win the NATTY every year.

Since joining the FCS in 2004 Ndsu has undefeated seasons in 2013, 2018, and 2019..all FCS championships..
