T ROD...it was an easy decision

I had wondered what Tanner Roderick was contemplating when he was leaving the Nevada Wolfpack?? Actually it was quite intimidating. Probably the second best q.b. to ever play at the scats...(Lulay) was ready to unveil his final year after a strong junior campaign. Playing wide receiver or h back couldn't sound attractive to a former gatorade P.O.Y. Montana with it's rock star fan base must have seemed alluring but who knew what the competition was going to be like at "Q" ?? What was the status of the football program going to be ?? Doubters were plenty on paper, the airwaves and cyber space. If the incumbent from 2011 came back the competition could be brutal. What's a drop down "Q" to do ? He did the SAFE thing...follow the trail back to the big warm bed  "Set your sights low...and you won't have to worry about being disappointed".

Huh? Sober up.
I was in Bozeman yesterday a.m. trading barbs with a scat "Z"...He went off about Roderick, Brekke, and egrizzers. I told him I didn't know squat about Brekke, but I had an OPINION about Roderick because he went to Nevada and the coach who recruited him didn't give him a "sniff" on the field. This isn't a conversation here, I told him I would post a response.

Not sure anyone, including you know what you just wrote! :ugeek:

  The look on your face must of been precious. The emoticon strikes an amazing resemblance.

I think he'll get some playing time, but He'll relize that the BSC or fcs is no weaker than Nevada fbs level. He'll wish he had chosen Griz Nation to have his back to bring him a Championship. Too Bad he'll be riding the turf all year with the sCats... IMO :(

a-huh, and then what happened next rim job

question?-- did somebody take cuts in front of you out to the playground at lunch  ?

to be fair the title of this thread is indeed spot on. i couldn't decipher the rest of the post but despite what insiders here thought...it wasn't a close decision. :o

Sir, you are drunk. Go home.

The BSC is most definitely weaker than Nevada and the FBS. You're delusional at best if you believe otherwise. Nevada was a 13 win team in 2010 with their only loss coming to Hawaii.. they damn near got a BCS game. That's BSC level??

I know little, check that - nothing about TROD. GPOY and a FBS recruit. Good enough for me and I would say the Cats picked up a threat one way or the other. Griz fans would have loved to see him playing in Missoula. Do I think he made the right choice - NO. I will wait to see what impact he has on the field and November could be interesting this year. TROD and DM are concerns, but the o-line and d-line for the Cats are questionable. Brekke was a good athlete and I am happy for any kid from Montana that gets a schollie. I like when there is a rivalry between the two programs personally. Was one sided for way to long. I believe it will be that was again soon, but until then I will enjoy the games.
