See my 1st practice post regarding SWIFT. His offseason was like Strait's offseason the previous year. Swift put on 15 to 20 lbs of muscle, and it shows. He also worked on every aspect of his game, and was playing with alot of confidence, even with a swagger from what I observed.
Swift will be the most improved player this year. He and Martin will benefit most by Tinks being new HC. Tinks said that players will be rewarded offensively when they play tough defense. Meaning, when they play defense he will loosen the offensive reigns more often. As for Swift, he will play 1, 2, and 3. He will be 1 of 4 ballhandlers, along with Ellis, Martin, Rundles (unless he redshirts). Swift can handle the ball and pass well. He is a great fit for 6th man, unless he is too good to keep off the floor. BTW he has added consistency with his outside shot and his jumping looked very explosive as well. He impressed the most of what I have seen in practice. We will all see in a few weeks.
