I'm giving Kudos to the offensive play calling and execution. Yes, I know CP's defense sucks. I'm talking about a few things.
1. The GRIZ started the game with aggressive play calls.
2. Once we found what would work, we stuck with it.
3. The OL played with attitude. They absolutely refused to give in or feel sorry for CP
Could this be the game that brings this OL to a new consistent level? I have a feeling, it will be
4. Despite weather conditions, our staff finally took the top off, by taking deep shots. I don't care what the results were. Finally, defenses have to be aware of that threat. Make that a staple with our offense.
5. WRs and TEs finally got separation and open.
6. We looked to hbs in the flats, with terrific results.
7. LJ was back to keeping his eyes upfield when scrambling.
8. We found a feature back. At least I believe we have. Ostmo looked like an All American. He's a faster Lex.
9. We ran short goal line plays from under center!!! Call it minor, but I loved it! We've been lacking that for how many years now? Hell, LJ looked comfortable in it too.
10. An improvement in TE utilization.
Only complaints
Kept LJ and Ostmo in too long. I was worried, they'd get injured in a game in hand.
Not enough reps for Britt. I would have brought him in half way through the 3rd quarter, with most the playbook.
