I didn't see this here, may be posted a ways back, anyway:

I just saw Rodney's name in the mock drafts and had no idea he had declared. I must live under a rock. Interesting to see how his not being able to really elevate his team in a weaker I-A conference to the Big Dance will affect his stock. Though I don't pay too much attention to EWU basketball, so I could be wrong. Who knows?

Just wondering what other's think of Stuckey's upside and what you all think of his chances of being a big impact on the next level.

Had no idea he was so hot on the radar of the NBA this early in his collegiate career.

Did you see sgf? :thumb:

They just released the players that will be in the green room come draft day and guess who was the big suprise to be there....

Stuckey.

Pretty cool to see a Big Sky player in the green room!

I was listening to The Herd this morning and Colin was asking Ford about Stuckey because Colin went to Eastern. Ford says that he expects Stuckey to be picked up by the Pistons at the 15 spot.

Colin Cowherd... schrutebag.

Pistons have promised STuckey if he falls to 15 then they will pick him. Too bad their biggest need is a big and another point.

Conventional wisdom, has Stucky gone at 15th as posted above. Detroit has said early they like him. Stucky's stock is rising a little though right now. Most NBA guy's saw him as an offencive guard based on the numbers he put up at EWU, but he has been showing the ability and willingness to be a very good passer. He is being looked at a multiple dimensional player than before. Some think he could go a few spots higher under the right conditions. Then again it is speculated that if a couple players Detroit likes drop to 15th stucky could fall to 20 or more. It should be an interesting Thursday evening.

He went 15

Like I said he would

Swilly,

Did you say that, or simply repeat what all the talking heads predicted? Just giving you some shit Swill. Were you on probation at home again?

Big Strong guards that really dont play alot of defense. Should be good backups to Rip and Chauncey (if he resigns)

As for Billups, my guess is he goes home to finish his career in Denver. He already has a home there and is huge in the community. He is well off enough and loves Denver enough to sign at a below market price. As for Denver, they better go for this guy! Billups, Iverson, Anthony, Camby, Nene, and JR Smith make for quite a combination.

It was a great pick the Pistons had in Stucky and Affalo. Dumars was confident in the newspaper that they will match and re-sign Big Shot Billups, but it looks like it is always better to be safe than sorry. Also helps get the Pistons some fresh legs. They aren't that old but Sheed, Billups, Webber, mcDyess and the others are in their early thirties.
