Strength of Conference Schedule

Weber has a very favorable conf schedule this year, no MSU, no PSU, and the stronger teams (Poly,EWU,UM) are at home.

EWU
@ UC Davis
Cal Poly
@ Sac St
@ SUU
UM
UNC
@ ISU

although it saddens me to not see some familiar faces on our schedule. (MSU, NAU, PSU) :(

I was trying to think of a way to incorporate home games into the calculations. I was thinking of multiplying the opponents winning percentage by some factor depending on if it was a home game or a road game but I couldn't decide on a percentage and it would have been much more work, so I didn't. I think it is a big factor though (for some teams more than others) and should be taken into consideration when talking about difficulty of schedule.

The SOS will heavily weigh on the side with Montana, Montana State, and EWU, at least for the 1st few years. With that kind of lopsided SOS, the other division will be lucky to get 1 team in the playoffs, meanwhile as many as 3 from the stronger division.

There are no divisions.
