#Stitthappens . . . remembering Bob

Anybody remember that Bob H. lost to a DII NDSU in his Washington Griz opener? Hauck did it with a team that included a handful of NFLers and 20 returning starters. Stitt waltzes in and lays the wood to 4 time national champ, #1 ranked NDSU! Class act. I am glad we are going to finally both 1. restore the swagger and 2. move past the sins of the Hauck error.

No question that beating NDSU was a class act. And no question that everything else about this post has no class at all.

Well, since Haucks teams had some of the best swagger this program has ever known and also won more games than any other coach this post is confusing?

Hauck was just a NeuWeasel protege and did no favors to the UM program in the long run. The LONG list of off the field problems is evidence. Stitt appears to bring none of Hauck's baggage and at least on the surface appears to be a quality coach. I hope I am right and can still say this about him in a couple years.

I had to laugh when they showed Hauck getting beat by NDSU in 2003, he couldn't get off the field fast enough.

Not to be that guy, but Hauck's teams never turned the ball over at this clip.

True statement..Stitt goes on fourth down to extend the drive. I believe our turnovers were more than our conversions ;)
