Statue of Liberty

One of the highlights from last nights game was the Statue of Liberty play that OC Pease dusted off and used back from the Boise State playbook vs. Oklahoma Fiesta Bowl victory. The play call was awesome but was somewhat over shadowed by the pancake block from MayGinnes and the subsequent offsetting personal fouls.
I applaud the 1st half play calling. Reverses, play action passes, screen plays, etc. that Pease had in the playbook. As Cliff gets more and more comfortable behind center, I’m hopeful, we will continue to see our playbook expand.

I agree. It’s amazing to see some creativity, compared to the predictable play calling earlier in the season. I guess it’s all a process, and the evolution of this team.
