Early polls are meaningless. I watched the Furman game against Michigan State and I refuse to believe they only get 10 votes which is the same number that Montana State got losing to Idaho. That makes no sense to me at all and I am not bashing the Bobcats. It goes to show early polls mean nothing except for the first 4 or 5 teams. I also think EWU is underrated based on their performance.

Agree about the early polls.

That's why I wait to start my "Poll Guesses" until several weeks into the season. That's just for fun, of course, but it simply makes no sense to even "guess" when there's no real track record for this year's teams. That means the polls are based mostly on reputation ... so who gives a f**k.
