Starting QB vs ISU?

I think there is allot to like about Trent and I think he could have a great career here. He was moving the ball ok against NDU but not fast enough to keep up with how quick they were scoring. I think it was the right thing to do to put Shay in and he proved him self just like he did up here at Glacier. We have two good QB's and with growth will be real good I think. Coaching is my biggest concern.

ISU has the 4th best pass defense in the league but the dead last rush defense in the league. Strategically thinking, ESPECIALLY if Dan Moore is back... TMac should be the guy going with the spread.

I completely agree with the strategy, but DM won't be back until next week. Shouldn't matter. Nyguyen, Canada and Kirschner should roll up 300 yards.

If you know you will be gone by the end of next year why would you leave anybody on redshirt status?

I think McKinney will start but he won't finish. Would love to see Adam B. Play just to see how he looks.

Believe this is the formula. Let McK gain some more real world experience, and let the Griz run the ball down their throats. Then by design bring in S-H for more reps. He played well in ND but wasn't very sharp. Many/most of his passes connected, yet he was still a bit off the mark on almost all of them. He also needs game time running the offense. If we have a comfortable lead I guess you could give the new guy some time late in the game.

At UND the coaches made the switch because we were not only losing again, we had fallen into a fairly deep hole. They switched to S-H specifically so we could throw and hopefully catch back up. The strategy almost worked, except we allowed UND to continue to throw... and throw... and throw...
