I was driving to see a client today and came across a public radio piece about college stadiums. One of the guys said that stadium envy is like penis envy. We all have it, but don't want to talk about it. Some interesting tidbits from the piece.
The big house in Ann Arbor is no longer number one in capacity. That belongs to Penn State, at least until the new addition/upgrades to the big house.
10 of the top 20 stadiums in the world as far as capacity are on US college campuses.
Michigan makes 3 million a game on ticket sales alone. That does not count the new club seats and private booths they are going to have with the upgrade.
There were a couple other interesting tidbits, but I can't remember them now.
