I vote for keeping the "Montana - Grizzlies" chant.

There are only 2 correct responses to "Go Griz!". It is either to return "Go Griz!", or "Bobcats Suck!".

Hey , I have a cool idea. Why not when something special happens at the game they play the sound of a Grizzly roaring. Then we can paw in the air and arrrrr . Wait,wait , I got it how about we play the sound of a screaming eagle over the loud speakers. We'll call it "El Diablo", you know it means fighting chicken. Or better yet , I bet we can all come up with some cool lyrics for a song called "Maroon Griz Cup" all these ideas would be so unique, we would be know for our innovative ideas !

I was doing this at the game in 2016 when some mouthy 80-year old woman in a griz shirt told me to pipe down. I just smiled at her and moseyed up to where she was sitting a few rows back, lifted up a haunch and ripped an absolutely filthy wet phatty right under her nose. The look on her face! I think she wanted to vomit and cry but couldn't decide which to do first. I flexed over her and screamed, "Now that's from the tummy of a grizzly bear you old wrinkly old bitch!"

I was at the game and remember this happening a few rows in front of me. It wasn't the classiest behavior for a university president, but I remember laughing.

I believe someone mentioned this a while back but wanted to check back on it as I thought it would be a very simple but cool way to show support to the program this upcoming night game.

The MONTANA - GRIZZLIES chant had been a longtime favorite of mine and can still remember the excitement I had as a 12 year old hearing it echo back and forth.

With the change in staff, it’s no question the team has bought into the GO GRIZ - FIGHT ON call and response. I know there’s those that couldn’t care less or those that simply don’t like it, but think this could be bigger than the fans.

From what I remember of my first hand account of the events, the elderly woman tried to step to Super_Eag, but SE grabbed the woman’s emotional support schnauzer and punted it down the stairs. This led to another huge cheer from the Chads in the section and chants of, “Eaaaaagle Nationnnnn, F*ck your dog!” Pretty soon, most of the stadium, including Platinum Beak Donors ($150), joined in the chant. It was a disgusting act, but one to which we Griz fans who travel to Cheney have grown accustomed.
