I don't get it either? Plus there's a big break in the middle because of Spring break. Why not just wait and start after? Better weather....no big gap....finish in early May....makes a ton of sense so they'll never go along with it.

To be 64F in Columbus. Last year I had successive days of -32, -37 and -26 in March.

I'm just honored you invited Luke and I back to Brint's podcast that he records in my dining room with my son every week. That could have been awkward.

I think it is a combination of a few factors.

1) Hauck likes them to practice in some colder weather. (Seems probable)

2) UM shortened their winter break two or three years ago. This year graduation is May 9th. If they push it back one week they still end with plenty of time before finals, but then they only have one week of practice before spring break. If they push it back until after spring break they only leave one week between practices ending and finals starting. Does that matter? Maybe, but my guess is they don't like to be that close.

I think Bobby simply likes spring break in the middle of it's going to happen during their spring camp and thus when spring break is determines when they start.
