Why would we drop a spot for winning by 17 points?

Here’s what my guess would be for the top 10:

1. Sam Houston St
2. Eastern Washington
3. North Dakota State
4. Montana
5. Southern Illinois
6. South Dakota State
7. James Madison
8. Villanova
9. Delaware
10. Montana State

Did you watch the game today? No way we are the 4th best team in the country. Not right now anyway. Maybe ... as we get healed up and some starters return to the lineup and KB gets more experience. I would put the pile of scat sh*t ahead of us.

Yep I realized after I posted that I forgot to drop Delaware. That opens a spot for MSU to move up, and then ETSU takes #10

I did watch it - both the 1st and the 2nd half
I'm not saying we deserve it but time will tell.
I'm betting that Bama would love an ugly win like we had right now.
Our D is top-notch. So is Ewooo's O
We were within one score of a team that may simply be the best team in FCS, especially when they play on that god-awful ugly field.
And we don't have to worry about that pile of scat sh*t for over a month.

I don't disagree that we aren't the 4th best at this point. Then again no one cares what you or I think. We my be come November, that's when it matters.

No

But like it or not NDSU is undefeated and deserves to be ranked higher IMO.

I don’t typically put merit on past seasons, but NDSU faced this EWU only a few months ago, with Cam Miller at QB, and beat them.

I mean they did beat too 10 North Dakota on the road last week and and beat top 25 UNI this week. I think that constitutes being #2.

UND just lost to South Dakota and are 2-3, they aren't even close to top 10.

I'm sure people are gonna just leap NDSU over everyone simply because they're NDSU, but they don't have a better resume than EWU right now.
