Sonny Lubick Comments

Did anyone see the little excerpt that Roots showed of Sonny Lubick talking to the Griz team Friday night?

He told them to believe in themselves and by the time Thanksgiving rolled around noone would want to play the Grizzlies!

Class Comments from Class Guy. Particularly given his MSU background.

I just watched it. Good stuff. And he's right. We ran for 8 yrds a rush this week, 400+ last week. TM will get better each week. Our secondary looked better, for the most part, yesterday (improved anyways). Tackling was better...

I hope all this just wasn't because we played N Colorado.

Unfortunately, playing UNC had s lot to do with it but " a win is a win" as the saying goes.

Not trying to over praise the win yesterday but it is true to say that every team will give the Griz their "A" game even when the Griz are not. If you think back to all the years, hell decades that the Griz have beaten these teams it matters to them. The Griz could be 0-9 and their opponent would not care one damn bit, it would still be their circled "A" game to win.
The boys will be back, if not for a post season run this year we will be in good shape the next few.

We are currently starting only four seniors (Harris, Hardy, Nguyen and Gratton) of the starting 24.

Peter Nguyen and Dan Moore but yes we have a very promising future.
Moore is unavailable indefinitely; my brain cramp on Nguyen; fixed it. 4 of 24 starters are seniors.

Isn't Carver a starter? He's listed in the stats as having started on Saturday.

Hendrixson starts at guard.

Mostly correct; my bad; confused by the rotation in those two positions. Haynes started the first two games, but Carver has started the last four. He has 9 catches in 6 games for 80 yards and one TD. Hendrickson seems to have started all six. So the number seems to be 6.
