Agreed! Defense in front of her needs to buckle down though. If they were to make it to a shootout...
I would honestly like their odds if at full strength. There is a ton of firepower out for the season though, so it'll be an uphill battle. I will be watching!

Great season for the team. I would’ve really liked to have seen this game at full strength. Even with a depleted roster it didn’t feel like they were overmatched out there. I think they would’ve won at full strength. I really do.

Great game ladies - the second half we were playing right with them.
Unlucky first goal and we were pushed forward on the second goal at the death. In my opinion, felt more like a 0-0 game heading to extra time but didn’t shake out that way.
Excited to see this young group continue to grow and this tournament birth hopefully fuels the rest of their careers. Will be nice to see Washington again next year in the regular season with them on the schedule.

Yeah that goal with 30 seconds left made it look worse than it was. Those ladies played toe to toe with the #4 tram in the nation...the Big10 champoins etc. Nothing at all to hang head about. Next question though...Who will be GK1 after next season? AD is killer

I’m not sure that part has been announced yet. I forget which local news station reported we were finally able to get them on our regular season schedule in 2026.

Seemed like it took the first half for the Griz to get used to the the speed/physicality of the game and the playing surface.
2nd half the Griz definitely played more downhill but just didn’t have the firepower to really threaten.
Both goals were scored by the same UW player that just outclassed the D. Outside of those two shots, the Griz kept them under wraps pretty good along with Dvorak having a nice game fending shots away or even coming out early to quash the danger.
If the Griz can stay healthy they can be very dangerous depending on what draw they get (assuming they take care of business in conference).
