wasn't it a WAC rule that they could not play at an FCS facility?

I think Idaho's days of playing in Pullman are way in the past. I will say the last time I was in the Kibble Dome, the turf was in really bad shape. The fake grass was worn down and the black pellets made it look really dirty.

It is beginning to look like the go Indy for football and their AD said he thought he could make that work for a few years.

Big question is if the WAC survives as an OLY conference or if Idaho joins the Big SKy for BB

Another interesting bit to this ongoing saga...BYU has only one home game after October 13, and it is Idaho....BYU has only 4 home games....yup, UM should really move up...

There's a difference between moving into a conference and being independent.. quit trying to compare apples and oranges.

Kibbie Dome underwent a remodel if I recall a season or two ago. They may have lowered the field too? Going on memory there. Also read they are undergoing other facilities upgrades, including a basketball only arena.

For the oldtimers....Neale Stadium before the Kibbie Dome

Rehabing old Neale Stadium would have solved one problem. It was easily expandable unlike the sanforized Kibbie Dome...which I always like to remind my Vandal friends is not a dome. Silo or quonset hut? ...maybe

Failing that you at least do a game or two in Spokane

I think this is a great idea and one I've often suggested. Anybody know if it has been explored from the Griz point of view?

Unfortunately, there's not a whole lot of anything going on in UM's athletic department since the president
executed a double kill last spring firing both the AD and the head football coach.
