We walked through the entire tailgate area north of the stadium and we were hoping some UW fans would welcome us into their tailgate, but nobody talked to us. At one point, we approached a few UW fans to say hi and talk a bit, but they didn't seem too interested to carry on any conversation with us. Luckily we met up with a Griz fan whom my wife knows who was tailgating with UW friends, so we got to experience a little Husky tailgating.

That tailgating experience made me understand what it must feel like for some to be a visitor at Montana's tailgates. In the future, we are going to go out of our way to say hello to future visiting fans when they walk by our tailgate.

When you were in high school, did you invite the jr. high kids to your kegs?

I was listening to the radio and a sports newscaster announced with great enthusiasm that the Huskies jumped up to number 6 after their win over Montana. I did feel invisible to the host fans, save for the occasional comment about Montana's impressive attendence on the road.

He's all over the board, and somewhat delusional with some of his comments. To ignore that score and come out and say he's happy with the offense and to keep talking about how you did "some good things"? Not even being a dick here but if I were a griz fan I'd much rather he said he was pissed off about how lopsided the game was and was going to immediately go to work fixing all the things that went wrong.

All his talk about how now this team is all of a sudden playing for each other, singing kumbaya, and sticking together, is just that. Talk. You guys won't really know where you're at until about 6 games in.

Thanks for once again coming here to remind us of your opinions of our coach. Trust me, we already know where you stand.

If you were a Griz fan and had that opinion after the UW game, you'd be just as dumb as all the others whining about it.

Didn't watch the presser, but I already agree with you. Cat fans have to know how to handle losing.

I just can't believe that you're bragging about a post-loss press conference. That's almost a new low.

You should. there is a significant difference between the two coaches in how they respond in the post game pressers. I'll let you decide which coach appears to be more likely building a championship caliber program.

On the coaches post game tv show Mon night, Stitt acknowledged UW had better athletes (DUH!) across the board, and that when you have 1st pick at recess you are gonna be pretty good.

I'll add the players are at UW for a reason, and the players are at UM for a reason: differences in speed, size and strength. There is that difference between every level of football. That's how players across the board (mostly) end up where they end up.

The Griz are FCS material. We'll see how good of FCS material here in the next few months... GO GRIZ
