SJSU and Idaho Cancel 4 Game Series

They are also getting less from Washington State for a game now that they are reclassifying as FCS.
Also, Wyoming won't be playing in Moscow.

Of course, there are more revenues in FBS, but there are also more expenses. For many lessor schools, presumably including Idaho, the extra expenses are greater than the extra revenues. You need to sign up for an adult ed business or accounting class.

Well when you suck as bad as Idaho has on the gridiron and not getting any extra revenue from lack of ticket sales, etc... it's pretty hard to be successful at that level financially.

It ABSOLUTELY did. Why do you think they fought tooth and nail to stay at the FBS level???! It wasn't due to their success. Seems to me that the almighty dollar is the only other end of an athletic program, sooooo.....

I agree. More or less the same level of competition on the field, probably comparable bowl money coming back from the conference, and much-reduced travel costs. The OOC problem/opportunity would have been about the same.

Agree 100%, and this is why I think the MWC is the ideal conference for the Griz: similar universities, based in the same geographic area.
