Way to Go Lady Griz. The Lady Griz played the best I have seen them play for several years. They had it all, Rebounding, shooting, defense, and free throw shooting. I was so bumbed out to see the 21st free throw missed. The Lady Griz hit the first twenty. All in all, they finished 20 - 21 at the free throw line.
Lady Griz turned the ball over only 8 times.
Leading scorers were Tyler with 18 points, Edwards with 13 points, and Baird with 12 points.
As for the first game, Bobcats had game, but was certainly outmanned. Played ISU very close and could have won the game if they were able to get some breaks. Anyway, they gave ISU a tough game. ISU will not be as fresh. Molly Hays was basically the only Bengal player that had a good game. ISU will need to play much better to beat the Lady Griz.
Anyway, ISU for seeding purposes will help the Lady Griz get a higher seed. ISU has a higher RPI than MSU, and beating opponents with the highest RPI helps the most with seeding. It would have been a cake walk for the Lady Griz if MSU won.
