Between the Oregon Ducks and the Grizzly seasons. Both 13-2 with their only losses to their national champions.

That’s the difference…..Oregon didn’t lose to Oregon State twice and Oregon State didn’t go on to win it all. Completely different situation if that’s how it had played out. That is why so many in Griz nation are pissed off about this year despite it being a 13-2 season. Had it been anyone else other than msu that the two losses were two and national championship had been won by and this conversation never takes place. You think Oregon fans are reacting a little differently today if it was Oregon State they had lost to and Oregon State who had gone on to win the title on their watch?…..because I do. Then again, Oregon would never let that happen would they?!

Oh for Christ's sake

As a Niners fan, it's uncanny how similar their season ended compared to the Griz. Lose to the Seahawks at home in the final game of the regular season for the 1 seed, and then get drilled on the road by them in the playoffs. I feel like I've just been punished by the Football Gods this season lol.

Also a Niners fan. Also feel that pain.

I assumed that was an annual event reading the first 4 words of the post.

I think too many of you are reaching by saying "Oregon didn't lose to Oregon State twice."

Seriously, use some context. It's not difficult to say "Oregon's only two losses were to the eventual National Champion Indiana" and "Montana's only two losses were to the eventual National Champion Montana State"

The rival status does not matter in this context.

Can you see a priest or something and get that exercised before next year. That’s a tough season ending. I think we’ve had a lot of seasons that were torturous for the entirety of the season for all our teams.
