Wow, amazing no quit game by Eastern. Just came up short on a missed FG and a pick 6. They played their hearts out in the 2nd half and put up 42, but the 35-0 halftime lead was just too much. Eastern will have both Adams and Padron back next year and Kaufman to reek more havoc in the BSC. I know deep done Alpha was rooting for the EAGS, just not certain eagle fans. Our players were crushed afterwords as they thought this was there game to win, losses are tough. See you next year in Missoula for another close Eagle WIN!!

Great game by EWU, lot of heart to comeback in the 2nd half. Our offense brings back 8 starters next year, unless Kauf goes pro, so we should be really good again next year. Saw a lot of GREAT griz fans today at the game, thanks for the support. As for Alpha and his comments, thank god he's not an EWU fan, we don't want him. I actually like the fact he hates EWU because if he was a fan, he would bring our whole fanbase down, kind of like he brings the Griz fanbase down. Keep on hating buddy....and that quote about hoping EWU fans get in a wreck on the way home last week...classy.

I think Kaufman would be crazy not declaring for the draft this spring. Next year without the supporting cast of Edwards and Hurd keeping db's honest Kaufmans numbers could drop. There is also the case that he could get injured as he has before and see his stock drop in the eyes of the NFL. Is a shot at an FCS title or a possible Payton award worth risking a very lucrative NFL career??? I'm sure there are several scouts that will pose that question to him in the near future.
