Shoutout for Riley

I don’t think Riley gets enough credit for his play by play announcing for both football and basketball. If you listen his enthusiasm and knowledge of players stats is great. He spends a lot of time between games studying opponents and Griz stats and his recall during games is amazing. I think we have a real gem with him.
I think at times he can get a bit overwhelming but it just shows his love for the Griz.

Couldn't agree more, he's outstanding! I always mute the TV and fiddle with dvr to try and sync things up with his PxP calling.

Riley is great. My only complaint is that he gets so busy expounding on all of the data he's collected that he forgets that his main job is to paint a picture in the mind's eye of the listener so that they can visualize what's happening on the field. Mick Holien was fantastic at that, and Riley has a ways to go.

Mick was the GOAT. The "Good Guys." Fans of the opposing team hated him. He and Gurnsey were total homers. I loved those guys.

Agree about Mick's huge shoes he left. Always hard to follow a legend. Riley has done an admirable job. Love listening to his enthusiasm. Much more entertaining and informative than the clowns they have on the networks! We are very fortunate to have him!

More proof of how lucky we are to have had Mick and currently Riley. Listen to a Bobcat radio broadcast sometime. Total homers, but the enthusiasm is nothing like we have. I would much rather listen Gregorak on the TV than those bozos.

Not a fan. He tends to repeat the same topics over and over, especially in basketball. He also gets far to excited and it affects is calls. He’s better when he has a partner to play off of.
