Should Stitt have pulled Simis?

Ultimately, I don't think the Griz had anyone to put into the game unless they were forced to due to an injury to Simis...

Pulling Simis means that the offense gets smaller than it already was.

Not with a healthy Gusafston. Hopefully Gus is ready to go for ISU

I meant in favor of Lucas or Prater. I didn't expect Gus to be considered.

Well, Makena carried the ball rushing more than all the rest of our ball carriers combined. This wasn't the weather to be passing, and yet Stitt kept us to a passing offense, leaving it to a passing QB to get the yardage rushing.

The weather was not conducive to passing and Simis seemed to have a hard time looking off his first/only option. The Vikes safety did nothing more than follow Simis' eyes and react.

The Griz seem to have no way to run horses for courses. Wet track you don't run your sprinter you run your mudder. Put Ralston or Sprunk back at TE, Wilson back at FB and pound the rock. Third and 1 is a running down not a time to throw a slant into double coverage 30 yards down field.

Gotcha - but I think Gus was QB #2 for the game.

I thought Lucas was listed as #2 and Gus #3. Certainly wouldn't have hurt anything to see what Lucas could do. However, agree with those saying that QB was far from our only worry. Beaten in every aspect of the game.
