Selvig's wrist injury

Anyone have any word? The timing for this injury comes at a pretty bad time, he went to the floor pretty hard when the hawaii center looked to have shoved him down or something. He had ice on his wrist sitting on the bench...

haha, that was hilarious, we were standing for the player intros but then of course Cherry gets 2 free throws due to Hawaii's pre-game technical, so we're still standing watching that and this lady gets up and asks Titleist to "please sit down" sheesh.

Yeah that Hawaii #5 intentionally ran at Selvig like a middle linebacker and blasted him. He was so frustrated after getting stripped inside I told the people around me to watch him because I thought he was going to punch someone. He didn't punch him but I thought he might have broke Selvig's rib or sternum at first. That kid was hopped up from the opening tip and wouldn't listen to their coaches at all. Real punk thug.

That dude had a pretty clear agenda. He was one of the most classless players I have ever seen at any level. Did anyone notice how he dunked, again, after coming out during halftime warm-ups? I thought he would get another technical. His parents did a fantastic job raising him.

I hope Selvig just has a bruised wrist. It rattles me because its his shooting hand.

Here's a video of the foul. You can see the darker hair ref toss him immediately after the foul. It looks like #15 for them also initially got a technical foul called against him for shoving Stockton. I think after they reviewed it though, they must've decided against that call. Even though he shoved Stockton fairly hard, it looks like he was just trying to separate the players and get Thomas away from everyone else.

Right click on it and choose "watch on youtube" to see the bigger video. Not the greatest quality since it's just from bigskytv, but you can see this was definitely intentional.

Last time I saw Selvig he was shaking hands with the Hawaii team after the game, with his shooting hand, and had a big smile on his face when he was doing so. His wrist did not look like an issue.

Wow. What a chicken-shit move. Eastern's Jordan Hickert pulled a similar stunt on Weber's Byron Fulton last week.

After he blasted Selvig then he kept walking towards him like he was going to do something more once Selvig got up. It doesn't get a lot more flagrant than that!

Watching the game on BSTV I couldn't believe what I saw. Thomas deleivered a better shove than many middle linebackers. Just a thug---no two ways about it.... :x

No offense to middle linebackers...right? 8-)

Note that Stockton quickly came up behind the Hawaii guy, put his hands on his back, and said something. That caused him to turnaround. Then Cherry got on the scene and pointed for the guy to hit the road, as one of his teammates escorted him towards the baseline.
