Second round FCS attendance

Don't misunderstand my point: I absolutely love Montana in the fcs playoffs.

I just chuckle every time someone uses attendance at bowl games as an argument not to make the move to FBS. "Why go play in some 'bullshit' bowl game no one cares about in an empty stadium?".

Uhhh, we do that damn near every week in the bsc, including playoff games.

The big difference is the playoffs. A great system and huge fun. Crappy bowl games are not the playoffs, in case you haven't noticed.

Why do you even bother to follow the lowly FCS? You constantly complain about it. I doubt that any Griz fan or anyone or related to the team would miss you one bit.

I would think it would be in the upper level f.c.s. teams like ndsu, Montana and Montana State to Waite for the power 5 teams to break away and start their own division, which I think is bound to happen.
When that happens Montana and ndsu etc... Will have the option of moving up to the next division with teams from the mountain west, aac, and conference usa. And be in a playoff system there.

I think you are pretty close to what is going to happen in the near future here. It would be the logical time to consider a move. If legacy schools can't get a handle on escalating costs though, a new online model may drastically alter the whole works. We'll see, I suppose.
