Last September, Griz fans were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share in the rich tradition that is Montana basketball when its historic coaching tree reassembled in Missoula for the first-ever "Roundball Roast".
This year, the Celebration of Tradition continues as Griz fans again have the chance to gather for a night to honor basketball legends, both local and national.
Montana head coach Travis DeCuire, his staff and players invite the Griz basketball community to the 2016 Celebration of Tradition dinner, honoring long-time radio announcer "Grizzly" Bill Schwanke, and featuring special guest speaker Steve Lavin, a current basketball broadcaster and former head coach of two storied programs – St. John's and UCLA.
