Seating Question

My mother is a die hard Griz fan. However she has not been able to go to a gem for a number of years since she lost her lower leg in an unfortunate accident. She now has a prosthetic and can get a round much more but climbing stairs or walking really far is still hard on her and she gets pain. She really wants to go to a Griz game this year. I was looking for seats. It looks like the only possibility might be 114 in the south end zone. I know the top section of 114 you have to climb up to. Does anyone know what row is like the flat level or of anywhere else that might have seats that would be good for her. She is determined to go to a game again I just want to make it as easy on her as possible.

There are various handicapped areas in the stadium that I'm sure your mom could get to relatively easily. Even a nice one, or more than one, in the upper east deck. On about 35 yard line, north. The Griz and Dolphin, Doug Bettors, sits there sometimes.Could walk in south end zone and take elevator. You can get a ticket for her, and for yourself. Also, you can arrange for a UM golf cart go pick you up most anywhere and go to the closest spot in the stadium that it can get. From parking lot to south end, to elevator. Then not a long walk to the seats.

Thanks PR. I was told most of those tickets are already sold. Inf act most of the tickets for every home game are sold and the handicapped seats only get 1 extra person to come along. My old man was looking to go too and of course I am as well; so looking for at least three seats somewhere. I will call the box office again tomorrow and ask about the golf cart though.

The top row of the south end zone would have at most one step to step down. PR's idea is prolly better.

Which game? I have an idea.

Not too picky on the game, if we could find decent seats we were going to go with NIU if not then maybe Drake or Sac St.

Call the ticket office, Ray, and explain your situation. UM should do the right thing and accommodate your mother's needs.
