Seat suggestions for Griz Football games?

I’m looking to get tickets for my first Griz game but I’m not sure what seats to buy.

Me and my wife are a little older and looking for seats not in a “party” section if that’s even a thing.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

If you're trying to avoid extra noisy sections, probably avoid the north endzone seating as that's where a loud canon goes off plus the fans are especially known for getting loud to help out. (We had season tickets in sections 128 & 127 and I never thought it unbearable but to each their own). The black sections are the student sections. The eastside upper deck has seatbacks and might be more removed from the "chaos". I'm not sure if you have to be GSA for those, or not, though. Somebody else probably has more info.

NEZ has not-young great fans, who like to stand and some drink. Fun and louse section. Section 127 is where player tickets are. 102 or 103 down low are where visiting team seats are. I think 222 - 224 are chair back seats. I assume anyone can buy those seats. 223 will be sold out. The band is in 116. SEZ seats are usually the last to sell.

My parents mentioned the exact same thing when they moved back to Missoula - Didn’t want to be close to the student section, but also wanted to have a great time.

229-C is where we have season tickets now. It’s the NE corner - there’s typically single game tickets in this section and the corner angle is a fun way to watch offenses develop in real time. Good group of people there and enough room to stretch out a bit on most games.

It’s the lice that made people move out of there. Plenty of open seats. 😉

My folks (who are in their 70s) have had seats in the south corner of the NEZ in 233 for years and love their section. It's also very close to the elevator for those with mobility problems, which really helped my mom after she had knee surgery a couple of seasons ago.

There is no octogenarian section. No quiet section. If noisy jacked up fans annoy you, then you should stay home. If you want to come to the game, really want to come, then there is one practical suggestion: Leave your hearing aids in the car.

Ignore the above post. Washington griz is loud and rowdy, but there are definitely sections you can sit for most of the game versus stand for most of the game and won’t be surrounded by drunk fans that continue to drink throughout the game. It probably would help to know which game you are planning on attending.

Afternoon games can be hot early in the season and the southwest and west side may be your best bet for shade earlier in the game than the east side and to not be in the midst of the die hard fans. It’s close to the tunnel for the pregame entrance.

I would avoid the northwest because of the boom crew and being close to the cannon. The 200 sections on the East side are nice but I don’t know how much it has changed with alcohol being sold on that level now l. The actual seats are comfier than bleaches on those sections below the canyon club and the view is nice. Avoid the southeast side due to the student section.

The addition on the east side is a hell of a spot to watch a game from. We’re happy in the nez, but that’s for us.

Titleist is probably right, just a bullsheeit post, but I speak the truth, which can be a bitch. WaGriz is loud and rowdy. Griz fan expectations are high. To expect 26,000 jacked up fans to tone it down to accommodate a couple of overly sensitive fans is totally unrealistic. It's like using a outhouse and expecting it not to stink. You want a buffer, buy a luxury suite. Or, simply watch the game on TV where YOU control the volume. The drunk ass next to you would probably be related to you.
This isn't the Delaney-Stitt era anymore, thank God...and Bobby Hauck.

I've sat in 109 last year and the year before. It was a good experience. I got to see young Ah Yat play. You shouldn't have any issues there. Friendly folks.

Thank you for once again demonstrating the poor reading comprehension of cat fans. I was comparing actual cat fans to AI bots, ie the one who started this thread. The former are real people, the latter are not.
I pray that moron isn't a graduate of an institution in the Montana public educational system. I mean, everyone in Montana knows how weak msu is, but I fear nationally UM grads get painted with the same brush.
