Ex almost a Griz, Sean Watson is back at Howard JC and is listed a soph. in eligibility. Do not ask me how but he is. He has also made quite a few preseason JC all American teams since returning to Howard. Juco Junction had him rated as a top 100 JC recruit for this year. Betcha he stays closer to Texas this time around!!

we really missed watson against gonzaga. i can recall several situations where they rebounded over staudacher, but wouldn't have against watson. that was a game where we needed all the athletic talent we could get.

but, remember, watson's departure allowed us to make an investment in the future--mathias ward. it could turn out great for us, in the long run.

Binghamton signed Watson last month.

He started his collegiate career at Morgan State but never played there. In 2006-07 he was a redshirt freshman at Howard College and then a RS soph the following year after he didn't stay in Montana. Watson's originally from Brooklyn.

BTW, Binghamton also has the talented and much-traveled Theo Davis. Davis left Gonzaga after fall 07 semester so will be eligible mid-year. He's much closer to home (Ontario).

P.S. - Scout.com has a mismatch on Howard College - header incorrectly shows Maryland as location.
