Worst 3rd down defense I've ever seen by the Seahawks.

Josh Brown, this is the NFL buddy. You gotta make kicks.

Offense sucked ass in 1st half but got it together in the 2nd. My original opinion of Hasselback was incorrect - he is a pretty good QB for what Holmgren tries to do. Seattle needs a monster DL in order to get pressure with the front four. Depending on the outcome of this season, figuring out a way to draft Ngata makes sense to me.

A disappointing loss, though, b/c with their schedule I really saw a chance for the Hawks to have only one loss going into their bye in a few weeks.

Brown has been the most consistent Seahawk the past couple years, but not today. This loss hurt, coming back in the 4th to tie it, only to miss a field goal at the end of regulation and lose it in OT. I think the Redskins are for real this season, and were a pretty good team for making the game close.

I agree with 2002 on the defense. What the Hawks need is another big DT to go with Tubbs, and another OLB. D.D. Lewis is good, but he just isnt cutting it on run stopping.

I guess I am going to have to start giving Brunell a little credit. He has looked pretty good 2 weeks in a row. He had a TON of time in the pocket though - I tend to think it is more a lack of pass rush by Hawks than it is superior pass pro by the Skins, but that's just my opinion (and thus why I think we need a young DT).

Alexander was money again even though they were clearly keying on him. Jackson has improved exponentially as a "hands" receiver and Ingram is underrated in the league.

We HAVE to beat the Rams.

And Hasselbeck better start realizing that if Smokey and the Miracles is going to win a fantasy football league this year he needs to throw it more to Darrell Jackson.

The clock is ticking on the Holmgren era in Seattle. Homgren reminds me of Martz in St Louis - he outsmarts himself a whole lot. Is there a single good reason that Alexander shouldn't get the ball 25-30 times every single game?

Saving him for the playoffs
