That would probably result in the team going to LA in my forecast... Why would Paul Allen sell the team??? It's not like he has to do a frickin thing to run the club...

I hope I don't suffer through Sonics 2.0

Allen battled cancer last year, so that might be why he is interested in selling, if the rumors are at all true. I don't see the Seahawks leaving, though, and I don't believe the NFL would allow them to go to LA - they made Behring return to Seattle, and that was when the Kingdome was falling apart. Now they have a first class stadium with good support, they won't be going anywhere.

Sonics leaving was about a lousy stadium (that was a mistake from the beginning, Ackerly insisted on the remodel being too small for NHL Hockey to avoid competition, so the arena was rebuilt on the cheap and never really penciled out) and Stern sending a threat to all the other NBA cities to keep up the stadium or he will move teams (see Sacramento).

Key Arena or whatever it's called now is fine... Not fine by bitchy NBA owners that want the equal to the new Dallas Cowboys stadium, but good enough for an AC/DC concert...

All it boils down to is everybody wants to fix what isn't broke... The Kingdome was broke, so they took care of it, but other than that, the Sonics left because the AS# Hole Owner sold them to someone I would like to meet in a dark alley

Allen with Cancer really has nothing to do with it, in my opinion... If he was terminal, he could just turn it over to whoever
