Watched the game. SDSU won by 10, but the Eagles gave them a game, trailing the entire contest between 1-7 pts until the final margin. SDSU has a great inside-outside offense w/guards running a lot of dribble-enter off of high post screens for shots or dishes. SDSU's Daum is a horse, reminds me a bit of Brian Qvale, except Daum can shoot from the perimeter. SDSU guard, David Jenkins (a Tacoma kid) was recruited by the Griz, I think. The Eagles kept pace via the trey (13), but had to foul in the key; the Jackrabbits' 10 point margin came at the ft line.
I think the Griz matchup pretty well with the Jackrabbits, who play more of an uptempo game than NDSU.

I think it would have been a much closer game if the EAGS starting forward Mason Peatling was playing. Jesse Hunt has been the front court workhorse with little rest this season. Mason Peatling will likely make it back for the conference opener. He has not played yet this year.
Looking forward to the UM/SDSU game as I think it will be a great game.
